Guided sage grouse hunts require a two day minimum with three days recommended.

Season Dates 2024 September 7-15. Bag limit 2 birds per season.

We offer guide services in any of the following units Beulah, Malheur River, Owyhee, Trout Creek mountains, East Whitehorse, Steens Mountain or Beaty's Butte.

Hunters must be in good shape and able to walk 4-8 miles in a day. Most hunt units require us to set up a camp with tents and cots or travel several hours before daylight to reach.

Why would you need a guide for this hunt?
This is a truly remote hunt with very rugged roads, no cell service and limited emergency services.
We also teach our hunters about the biology and natural history of this bird species. What it eats and how how to find these birds at different times of day
Link to Bryans post? Here is post of a very experienced hunter that joined us and destroyed his tire in the process.
